Mission Statement
One Dojo is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to advance the accessibility of martial arts, dance, and other forms of physical education and their related physical and mental health benefits for families of all socioeconomic statuses; to promote community wellness by providing these types of physical education to underserved populations, such as students with learning disabilities, students with special needs, homeschooled students, and women; and to sustain a community-based curriculum focused on family self-efficacy and student academic achievement development.

Wesley has been practicing martial arts for over twenty years. He has competed professionally in Jiu Jitsu and as an amateur MMA fighter and is a NAGA Expert Level Black Belt Champion. Wesley has further experience in fitness and martial arts training from his work as a police office and his time in the Marine Corps. He has spent over a decade innovating submission grappling and wrestling and is committed to community betterment through martial arts education and lifestyle principles. Wesley is currently pursuing his BA in Business.

Belle has been training martial arts under Wesley Lynch since 2018. She received her purple belt from Eric Lincoln and Randy Villarreal in less than three years of training Jiu Jitsu and MMA. She is currently training under Kyle Short of KSJJ. Belle is a competitive professional Jiu Jitsu fighter (gold medalist, NAGA expert champion), and is passionate about running her (Mom)MA program and making martial arts available to girls and women. Belle is currently completing her doctorate in Educational Psychology and runs One Dojo's affiliate program Family Dojo Therapy.

Juliana is the eldest of five homeschooled children (all Dojo athletes!). She is accomplished in soccer but has found her passion in Jiu Jitsu. She loves working with all ages of kids and is enthusiastic about seeing them succeed in the sport and in competitions as they discover and develop their own passion for martial arts. She is a gold medaling competitive Jiu Jitsu athlete and has set a goal of becoming a black belt by the time she is 20. She has years of childcare experience within the homeschool community.

Ruth comes from a family of veteran homeschoolers and is experienced in child care, community service, and children's ministry. She took gold in the very first Jiu Jitsu competition she ever attended with less than 3 months experience. She is a soloist for the Dojo Dancers program and has performed roles including Clara in the Nutcracker. Ruth splits her time between assisting coaching the Homeschool Dojo Jiu Jitsu and Dojo Dancers programs, bringing experience from each program to the other. She plans to become a nurse when she graduates high school.
