What makes us unique?

Most Dojos offer programs that work on discipline, self-defense, confidence, and behavioral support. One Dojo is actually supported by instructors and curriculum design specialists who can vet these claims.

Coaches Wes and Belle provide a unique combination of experience from the military, police force, and educational psychology fields (see more here) that creates an environment where students of any needs or ability levels can find the scaffolding they need to succeed and overcome their personal difficulties. Their non-profit approach to providing this kind of instruction to everyone despite financial restrictions also makes One Dojo one of the most affordable martial arts and fitness schools in the DFW area.

Coach Wes has you covered through his respect-based mat leadership informed by his years as a competitive martial artist, police officer, and retired US Marine.

Looking for development for your nervous kiddo or special needs child?

Our classes are designed through a combination of traditional martial arts instruction and the best of educational theory courtesy Coach Belle’s experience as a curriculum and instruction specialist (MA, MSE) and educational psychologist (Doctoral Candidate). She specializes in working with kiddos with ADHD, ADD, SPD, ASD, ODD, and more.

Worried about class being too intense?

All kiddos from the most nervous to the most competitive find their happy space on our mat through game-based learning opportunities that bring the techniques to your child’s level, helping them develop their inner martial artist.

Unsure about what class is like?

Our hour-long classes include kinesthetic warm-ups for strength and dexterity development, 1-2 grappling techniques per class, wrestling-based games, and active live grappling rounds to finish class.

Our Plans

We don't believe in charging per day you want to train. Unlimited training is how you make champions. That's why our pricing plans always include unlimited training per child.
